My name is Quirine,
and I am a Dutch writer, author and content creator, currently living in northern Italy. I spend my days writing, reading, and, as I like to call it, chasing whimsy. Growing up, my family called me a drama queen, but I know better now: I refuse to settle for the mundane, and approach the world with a curious and romantic mind, looking for magic wherever I go. My work is perpetually caught between dreamy fiction and reality. Everything is a story, and I shares them with my online audience by curating a world steeped in beauty, literature, curiosity, art, nature and magic.
I aim to bring those stories into the physical world through intimate events and gatherings for likeminded people: dreamers like me. These events are a place where fiction becomes reality and life feels like a movie.
At the moment, I am working on my debut novel, Where Magic Hides.
Somewhere in the English countryside lies a small town you won't find on any map. It is home to three witchy sisters, some carefully guarded secrets, more witches than is statistically reasonable, an opinionated crow and, unfortunately, one very curious (and attractive) newcomer.
Where Magic Hides is a cozy fantasy about sisterhood, belonging, old magic, inconvenient truths and the strange things that happen when you have spent a century keeping the outside world out.
