These Terms & Conditions apply to event tickets purchased through QuirineBrouwer.com and participation in events organised by Quirine Brouwer (“the Organiser”). 1. Event tickets

Tickets for events are sold through QuirineBrouwer.com.

Your booking is confirmed once the order has been successfully completed and payment has been received. You will receive confirmation electronically at the email address provided during your purchase.

It is your responsibility to provide a correct email address and to check the event information provided before completing your purchase.

Your ticket gives you admission to the specific event, date and, where applicable, time stated on your booking.

2. Prices and payment

All ticket prices are displayed in euros (€).

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, the price shown at checkout includes applicable VAT and any mandatory charges known at the time of purchase. Any additional charges will be clearly displayed before you complete your order.

Payment is processed through the payment methods made available on the Website.

3. Cancellations and refunds by attendees

Please make sure you are able to attend before purchasing a ticket.

Because event tickets relate to leisure activities provided on a specific date or during a specific period, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal that applies to many online purchases generally does not apply to event ticket purchases.

Unless otherwise stated on the event page, tickets are therefore non-refundable if you decide not to attend.

If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to another person, provided that:

• The ticket has not already been used;

• The event does not specifically state that tickets are personal or non-transferable;

• You inform me of the transfer at [your email address] before the event where reasonably possible.

Reselling tickets for a price higher than the original purchase price is not permitted.

4. Cancellation by the Organiser

If an event is cancelled by the Organiser and no suitable replacement date is offered, you will be entitled to a refund of the ticket price paid.

If an event is rescheduled, your ticket will normally remain valid for the new date. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled date, you may request a refund within the period communicated to you when the new date is announced.

Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method.

The Organiser is not responsible for additional expenses you may have incurred in connection with attending the event, such as travel, accommodation or other personal costs, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

5. Changes to the event

Sometimes small changes are necessary when organising a live event.

The Organiser reserves the right to make reasonable changes to an event, including changes to the programme, timetable, teachers, speakers, workshop leaders, activities, catering or other elements of the event.

A reasonable change to the programme does not automatically entitle you to a refund.

If a change fundamentally alters the nature of the event you purchased a ticket for, I will provide appropriate information and, where required, an appropriate remedy.

6. Force majeure

An event may need to be changed, postponed or cancelled because of circumstances outside the Organiser's reasonable control.

These circumstances may include severe weather, government restrictions, emergencies, venue closures, widespread transport disruption, illness or unavailability of essential participants, public health measures or other exceptional circumstances that make it impossible or unsafe to hold the event as planned.

If this happens, I will make reasonable efforts to offer an appropriate solution, such as rescheduling the event or providing a refund where applicable.

7. Admission and behaviour

I want events to be welcoming, enjoyable and safe for everyone attending.

Attendees are expected to behave respectfully towards other guests, teachers, speakers, staff and the venue.

The Organiser or venue may refuse admission or ask someone to leave if their behaviour is threatening, discriminatory, seriously disruptive, unsafe or otherwise substantially interferes with the event or the experience of other attendees.

No refund will be provided where someone is reasonably removed from an event because of their own serious misconduct.

You must also comply with reasonable rules and safety instructions given by the venue or Organiser.

8. Participation in workshops and activities

Some events may include workshops, exercises, demonstrations or other participatory activities.

Participation is voluntary unless explicitly stated otherwise. You are responsible for deciding whether an activity is appropriate for you and may choose not to participate in a particular exercise.

Any information or instruction provided during an event is intended for educational, creative or entertainment purposes unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Nothing presented during an event should be considered medical, psychological, legal, financial or other professional advice.

9. Food and dietary requirements

Where food or drinks are included in an event, information about available dietary options will be provided where possible.

If you have an allergy or dietary requirement, please inform me in advance using the contact details provided for the event.

While reasonable efforts may be made to accommodate dietary requirements, I cannot guarantee that food will be completely free from traces of particular allergens, especially where catering is provided by a third party or prepared in a shared environment.

If you have a severe allergy, please contact me before purchasing a ticket if you need to establish whether the event can safely accommodate you.

10. Photography and filming

Photography or filming may take place during events for documentation and promotional purposes, including possible use on the Organiser's website and social media channels.

Where appropriate, attendees will be informed that photography or filming is taking place.

If you do not wish to appear recognisably in promotional photographs or video, please let me or the photographer know at the event. Reasonable efforts will be made to respect your preference.

Where separate consent is legally required for a particular use of your image, that consent will be requested separately.

Attendees may take photographs for personal use unless otherwise stated. Please respect the privacy of other attendees and do not photograph or film someone who has asked not to be included.

11. Personal belongings

You are responsible for your own belongings while attending an event.

The Organiser is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings except where the loss or damage results from circumstances for which liability cannot legally be excluded.

12. Liability

The Organiser will take reasonable care in organising and running events.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would not be permitted under applicable law.

To the extent permitted by law, the Organiser is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from attendance at an event or circumstances outside the Organiser's reasonable control.

Attendees remain responsible for their own actions and for following reasonable instructions provided during the event.

13. Personal data

Personal information collected when you purchase a ticket or attend an event will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy of QuirineBrouwer.com.

Your contact information may be used to send you information directly related to your booking or event, such as practical instructions, changes, postponements or cancellations.

Purchasing an event ticket does not automatically subscribe you to unrelated marketing communications.

14. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, event materials, workbooks, presentations, written materials and other original content provided as part of an event remain the intellectual property of their respective creator or rights holder.

Materials provided for personal use may not be reproduced, distributed, sold, published or used commercially without permission from the relevant rights holder.

15. Complaints

If you have a problem with your booking or experience at an event, please contact me at [your email address].

I will try to resolve complaints reasonably and fairly.

16. Applicable law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Dutch law.

If you are a consumer, these Terms do not affect any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you under Dutch or European law.

Any dispute will be handled by the competent court in accordance with applicable law.

17. Changes to these Terms

These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time.

The version that applied at the time you purchased your ticket will generally apply to that purchase.
